The Equal Opportunities and Socials Officer (EOSO) was a former exec role. It was formally made an exec role in 1999, although it had existed beforehand, and was originated on exec by Christopher Campbell. In 2006, the role's responsibilities were moved into the position of Secretary, and the role ceased to exist.
